Mackintosh Kitchen

Design Process

Customer Brief

Our clients visited our showroom with a clear list of requirements as this kitchen renovation was particularly special to them. This made it more important than ever to ensure everything was just right

Mr and Mrs Cameron were keen to have a hand painted, traditional, Shaker kitchen. Including space in the kitchen for family gatherings was also important to them.

The Design

As can be seen in the images, the final kitchen design meets the requirement for a traditional, hand-painted kitchen with a light, bright contemporary feel.

An island with seating and a NEFF induction hob occupies a central position within the kitchen. Another key point of the design was to accommodate a supporting pillar, therefore maximising the available, usable space.

The final design included furniture from a Mackintosh painted range, the island furniture is Anthracite and the main units are Limestone. A full suite of NEFF integrated appliances complement the modern kitchen design, alongside the Quartz Lincoln worksurfaces. A Blanco silgranite sink as well as a Blanco brushed steel tap complete the look.

Client Review

From the moment we walked into the showroom and met Jason we instantly knew that he was the designer we wanted to use. This was a huge and emotional project for us as it was through inheritance from my grandma that we were able to afford our kitchen refit so knew it had to be RIGHT.

Jason designed the most wonderful kitchen, with every single detail carefully thought out. He consulted us on every decision with no stone left unturned, whilst offering advice but also listening to exactly what it was, we wanted. The dream kitchen we had imagined turned into reality.

We could not have asked for a better designed, quality kitchen.
